My poem Looking to the Sky is included in a chapbook “Pitching our Tents: Poetry of Hospitality,” edited by Maren Tirabassi and Maria Mankin, which supports Interfaith reconciliation and shared ministry in the Middle East. The Peace Cathedral (Baptist) in Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia is building a small synagogue and a small mosque under its roof. (Both Muslims and Jews are persecuted minorities in Georgia). This chapbook, which includes writers from seven other countries, speaks for hospitality and hope in all places. The book is a free gift and I hope you will contribute ten dollars or more, if you can, through the Alliance of Baptists for the Peace Cathedral’s work.

I am a prayer guide with Moments of Grace + Prayer Ministry. It is a retreat in everyday life offered for either a week or a month. Participants pray at least 20-30 minutes each day and meet with a prayer guide for about one hour a week. You can read about it here MGP
